Sam Pinto Reveals True Feelings for Aljur Abrenica

In her interview last Saturday at “Startalk TX”, Kapuso sexy star and 2011's FHM sexiest woman Sam Pinto expressed her admiration towards Kapuso hunk Aljur Abrenica.

Sam revealed that she finds Aljur to be her perfect leading man because of his good looks.

"Actually naka-work ko na po si Aljur sa ‘Spooky Nights Present The Ring Tone.’ Okay naman po yung chemistry namin, masaya naman sa set, so why not?" the sexy star said referring to their first TV project together - the second installment of “Spooky Nights” (Aljur opposite Kris Bernal and she with Sef Cadayona).

And when asked a hypothetical query of 'what if Aljur decides to woo her,' Sam has only this to say: "And paano kung ligawan ako ni Aljur? Ay naku, kakapalabas lang, meron siyang Kylie Padilla," she said, referring to a taped interview of Aljur earlier aired on the show admitting he is currently exclusively dating with Robin Padilla's daughter Kylie.

"For me naman po, we'll get to know each other first," she continued.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Finals Winner is Marcelito Po Moy

Male diva and Youtube sensation Marcelito Po Moy from Cavite has been declared as Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 Grand Champion in the PGT Grand Finals results night held tonight at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and aired live on ABS-CBN.

Marcelito's brilliant rendition of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli's "The Prayer" using both his male and female voices gave him the PGT Season 2 grand champion title and made him an instant P2-million richer.

Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual To Star in a New Film Together

Aside from Maalaala Mo Kaya: The Movie" Angel Locsin is set to do another movie opposite her "Lobo" leading man Piolo Pascual.

The news was revealed by Piolo himself on SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) earlier this week.

"There is a project and hopefully sometime soon ay magawa na namin. She’s also doing some project with another leading man pero even while we were doing ‘Lobo’ mayroon ng project na gagawin namin together....I hope it will happen soon.” the hottest Kapamilya actor said.

Angel Locsin to Fly Again as 'Darna' in ABS-CBN?!

Now that the Kapamilya network acquires the right to 13 of the hit Mars Ravelo's creations including "Darna" and "Dyesebel", speculation is now spreading like a wild fire that Ms. Angel Locsin will once more portray the said role!

While still in GMA-7 way back in 2005, Angel first portrayed the said role in a TV series. And that was the very first time that"Darna" flew in Philippine television. And it got a very high record-breaking TV ratings which really pulled-up the Primetime block of the Kapuso network. In 2009, Marian Rivera reprise the said role but didn't surpassed the hit done by Angel!

The role of "Darna" truly fits Angel Locsin! Based on the different online surveys, Angel Locsin is the best "Darna" ever! Million people even requested Angel to fly again as "Darna!"

If ABS-CBN will offer the said role to Angel, do you want her to accept again the said role?! If not, who would you like to reprise the role of this famous Pinay superhero?!

There are also rumors that ABS-CBN will bring "Darna" not anymore in a Primetime TV series. Rather, it will be on a big screen, a 2012 MMFF entry! Nice! '100 Days to Heaven,' Xyriel at Jodi, Karapat-dapat na Purihin

Ang teleseryeng tungkol sa isang masungit na boss na namatay at binigyan ng pangalawang pagkakataon para itama ang kanyang mga nagawang mali sa loob ng isang-daang araw ay ‘di lamang napukaw ang buong bansa kung hindi nakuha rin nito ang interes ng mga kilalang TV critics sa bansa.

Ang “100 Days to Heaven” ng ABS-CBN ay ang pinaka-pinapanood ng TV program ngayon sa bansa. Ayon sa datos ng Kantar Media, nakakuha ng average national rating na 32.6% ang pinagbibidahang serye nina Xyriel Manabat, Coney Reyes at Jodi Sta. Maria. Ito ang pinakamataas na average national rating sa mga regular na programa noong Mayo. 

Nakakuha rin ng mga positibong review mula sa mga TV critic ang “100 Days to Heaven.” Sinulat ng mga tanyag na kritiko kung gaano sila na-bilib sa kwento ng “100 Days to Heaven” at pinuri ang pagganap nina Xyriel at Jodi sa nasabing palabas. 

Isinulat ni Isah Red ng Manila Standard Today na ang dalawang rason kung bakit nangunguna sa ratings ang “100 Days to Heaven” at ito raw ay dahil sa novel concept at magaling na pagganap ng mga cast members ng palabas. 

Ayon kay Red, "The concept is novel to many Filipinos. I think the writers have been able to make each week dramatic enough for audiences to look forward to the next level." 

Pagdating naman sa acting department, isinulat ni Red na ang lead Child Actress na si Xyriel Manabat “proves that she can deliver punches as well as buckets of tears and the audience are loving her." 

"Coney Reyes who plays the older woman must be delightfully amused that she has found her clone. More so, the series is populated with competent performers among whom Jodi Sta Maria and Rafael Rosell," dagdag pa nito. 

Pinuri naman ni Tito Genova Valiente ng Business Mirror si Xyriel bilang isang mature na aktor. Sinabi rin nito na makatotohanan ang pagganap ng batang aktres. 

“Manabat, because she is so good, is really a mature actor trapped in a cute and charming little girl’s body. Onscreen, she manifests all the mannerisms of a mature person in the character she plays. She is supposed to be the young Anna/Reyes but one realizes that we are not ‘supposing’ anything in and with her,” saad ni Genova. 

Nagustuhan naman ni Nestor Torre ng Philippine Daily Inquirer ang street-smart seam artist sa nasabing serye na ginagampanan ni Jodi. Inilarawan ni Torre na "bracingly edgy and textured" ang pagganap ni Jodi sa kanyang karakter. 

"Unlike many of her contemporaries, she (Jodi) has the imagination and work ethic to act, rather than merely pass muster with lazy, little variations on herself. It would be really great if more young-adult performers would be similarly ambitious and gung-ho creative,” dagdag pa ni Torre.
