For the first time in the 60-years history of the Miss Universe® Competition, the pageant stated a new additional rule in the selection process which is a global fan vote that may automatically advance a contestant to the semifinals. 

Fans residing in represented countries will be able to vote online atwww.missuniverse.com or www.NBC.com from 4 a.m. on Aug. 20 until 6 a.m. on Sept. 12 (Manila Time). Only 10 votes per e-mail address per day will be counted. The contestant with the highest average gets a spot in the semifinals.

2. Follow the Registration instructions: 

a. Type in your e-mail address 

b. Confirm that you are at least 16 years old

Sharon Cuneta Talks About the Relationship Status of Her Daughter KC Concepcion to BF Piolo Pascual!

Seems that the current relationship status of the power couple KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual is now on the rocks!

The Megastar Ms. Sharon Cuneta who is the mother of KC speaks up regarding the not so smooth relationship status of KC and Piolo.

In Sharon's latest interview with "TV Patrol" night ago, Sharon said that her daughter was being taken for granted by BF Piolo! 

“Basta, Kristina, mama’s here. Don’t forget you’re my daughter. We love you. We went through so much when you were little. You don’t have to go through it yourself,” Sharon said.

"Uulitin ko sinabi ng Daddy ko noon, ‘Kahit Metro Aide ang maging asawa niya, basta siya 'yung mahal na mahal, 'yung alagang-alaga,’" Sharon added on an inerview last night on "TV Patrol."

Sharon stressed: “Kasi, ‘di ko pinalaki ‘yan para i-take for granted lang at balewalain.” She really brought it up in fight of her daughter KC.

Meanwhile, KC's real father, Gabby Concepcion said that he will not interfere on the split issues.

Now rumors about the KC-Piolo break up is spreading like a wild fire! And it's now getting stronger!

Akihiro Sato is Now the Newest Kapamilya!

After the "Starstruck" alumni Paulo Avelino who jumped network from Kapuso to Kapamilya, another Kapuso yummy hunk and also a product of a reality show switched to Kapamilya!

Yup, the Japanese-Brazilian hunk model and the ultimate sole survivor of "Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown" Akihiro Sato is the newest addition to the Kapamilya network! 

Akihiro joins fellow trippers Kat de Castro and Uma Khouny every Friday in hosting the ABS-CBN travel magazine show"Trip na Trip!"

Because of his sexiness and yummy hunky built, Akihiro eventually becomes a favorite Japanese-Brazilian model. He became more popular after winning the first celebrity edition of "Survivor Philippines" last year. After that, he appeared in different TV shows of the Kapuso network like "Darna," "SRO Cinemaserye," "The Last Prince," etc. He is effective in portraying kontrabida roles in these Kapuso TV series.

But knowing that Akihiro is the grand winner of their reality show, seems that he is also one of the many stars of the Kapuso network who were taken for granted! He was given only supporting roles.

Now that Akihiro is with Kapamilya, hope that he will given more exposures and major projects. He may be the next Sam Milby or Gerald Anderson who were all have foreign bloods but now good actors and brightest stars. What do you think?!

Newest Kapamilya child wonder Mutya Orquia receives many praises after playing the young Kim Chiu in the recently premiered TV series "My Binondo Girl!"

Actually Mutya becomes a trending topic in the microblogging site Twitter last Monday after portraying the young Jade. Netizens praised and noticed Mutya's outstanding performance in the show.

'Bromance', 'social media', 'tweet' added to Merriam-Webster dictionary

"Bromance," "social media," "tweet" and over 150 more new words have been added to the pages of the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary. 

In a statement, Merriam-Webster's Editor at Large Peter Sokolowski said, "From the dramatic events of the Arab Spring to the scandal that brought down Congressman Anthony Weiner, tweet is a word that has been part of the story." 

"We've been tracking words like social media and tweet for years, of course, and now we feel their meanings have stabilized enough to include them in the dictionary," he added. 

Some of the words that also made it to the dictionary include the following: 

Americana -- "a genre of American music having roots in early folk and country music" 
boomerang child -- "a young adult who returns to live at his or her family home especially for financial reasons" 
bromance -- "a close nonsexual friendship between men" 
cougar -- "a middle-aged woman seeking a romantic relationship with a younger man" 
crowdsourcing -- "the practice of obtaining information from a large group of people who contribute online" 
duathlon -- "a three-part long-distance race with a running phase, a bicycling phase, and a final running phase" 
first bump -- "a gesture in which two people bump their fists together"

Mario Maurer flaunt his abs in Attitude Magazine Issue

Mario Maurer has recently been tapped to do a photo shoot for Attitude in Thailand. Maurer is reported to be also doing a pictorial for Penshoppe Philippines as its newest model and endorser.
Negotiations are also underway for a possible movie project with Maurer and Star Cinema. Erich Gonzales is poised to be his leading lady.

The final week of the hit action-drama TV series "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" is consistent at the No. 1 spot nationwide! During this period last week, no TV program can beat it! What more during its final episode!

The finale of this teleserye got a very high 39.1% TV rating! People all around the country avidly watched the final chapter in the life of the characters like Javier and Alexander who were both played by Coco Martin!
