Marian Rivera Talks About Transferring to ABS-CBN or TV5

Is Marian Rivera transferring network after her GMA-7 contract expires in August of this year?

When asked during the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World press conference on Friday, June 28, Marian said the she would rather turn freelancer instead of getting a new exclusive contract with a certain network.

"Pwede bang lahat nalang kayo? Freelance nalang ako!" Marian told bunch of reporters representing ABS-CBN, TV5 and GMA-7.

"Hanggang August pa ako sa GMA, so wala akong karapatang magsabi ng kahit ano sa kani-kanilang network. Basta hanggang August. Sa August, mag-usap-usap tayong lahat kung nasaan ako." she added.

Marian also expressed her delight being considered by the three major TV networksas their potential future star.

"Hindi naman siguro pinag-aagawan, nakikita lang nila siguro 'yung potential ko bilang isang artista. At siyempre nakakatuwa na bilang isang artista na kino-consider ka nila na mapabilang sa kani-kanilang Kapamilya, Kapuso at Kapatid," she said.

"My Husband's Lover" Marathon: Week 3 Full Episodes!

The Week 3 (June 24 to 28, 2013) episodes of "My Husband's Lover" get more exciting! Yes, this is the week where Vincent (Tom Rodriguez) and Eric (Dennis Trillo) finally reconcile! The romance between the two returns!

At first, Eric resigned from being the architect of Vincent and Lally's dream house to move away from Vincent. But still, destiny paved way for the two men to give their love a second chance!

This week also tackles the story of two mothers - Glydel Mercado and Chanda Romero. Glydel's character as the mother of Lally (Carla Abellana) returned to her daughters after ten years of moving away. On the other hand, Chanda who is playing the mother of Eric still showed support to her only son even though Eric and Vincent regained love affair.

The latest viral sensation Gwiyomi dominated the internet’s video as celebrities performed their own version since this song came top on the mainstream for about a month ago. Lots of people including our Pinoy celebrities are doing their own version of Gwiyomi/Kiyomi, but these list are really great ones coming from some of our famous celebrities here in the Philippines.

Gwiyomi/Kiyomi song has become so popular that many of our famous people have also put up their very own unique & special version. Gwiyomi Song or Kwiyomi Song (귀요미송) is the lead single from 귀요미송 (Re Title), a digital single by a South Korean indie singer Hari which describes the love of a girl and a boy.

They were all products of the rival networks' reality shows. They all started from a humble beginning until now dominating your TV screen!

Paulo Avelino, Aljur Abrenica, and Tom Rodriguez were all products of the reality TV programs. Paulo and Aljur emerged from GMA-7's "Starstruck"while Tom came from"Pinoy Big Brother."  

All of them became household names as their all led in their own Primetime TV series.    

Paulo became popular as he starred as Nathan in ABS-CBN's "Walang Hanggan." Afterwards, he topbilled another romance-comedy hit "Kahit Konting Pagtingin."

Jessy Mendiola Launches as Maria Mercedes

It is a dream come true for actress Jessy Mendiola to take on the role of Maria Mercedes, originally played by Mexican superstar Thalia in the series of the same name.

"Pwede ko na sabihin, ang tagal kong itinago ito - ako si Maria Mercedes," Mendiola said in a press conference on Wednesday. "Isa talaga si Maria Mercedes sa dream roles ko kaya excited ako para sa project na ito. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi ako makapaniwala na gagampanan ko ang isang napakaganda at iconic character na talaga namang minahal ng maraming Filipino,"

"Sobra akong surprised kaya noong nalaman ko na ako si Maria Mercedes, naging emosyonal ako. Pangarap kong maging siya. Tapos pinakanta pa sa akin 'yung theme song. Ang saya ko na pinagkakatiwalaan pa din ako ngayon," she added.

Joining her in the upcoming series are Jake Cuenca, Jason Abalos, Vina Morales, Dominic Ochoa, Nadia Montenegro and Vivian Velez. It will be directed by Rechie del Carmen.

Claudine Barretto Returns to ABS-CBN,

Set to Star in Two Movies

Claudine Barretto is set to make her big showbiz comeback.

According to a report by veteran showbiz reporter Mario Dumaual on ABS-CBNNews.com, two film projects are reportedy lined up for Claudine.

The 33-year-old actress is being offered to star in two movies with one possibly marking her reunion with the Kapamilya network.

Claudine's first movie comeback project is a romance-drama entitled "Eternally" under the film production outfit of Viva Entertainment where she is under contract. 

The other project, which is also a dramatic film, is a proposed co-production with ABS-CBN's film production outfit Star Cinema and Viva Films.

Best Actress Award for "My Husband's Lover"

Yes, you read it right, "Best Actress" award for Dennis Trillo.

There's no denying that more and more viewers are getting hooked on GMA's controversial primetime series, "My Husband's Lover" which stars Dennis alongside with Carla Abellana and new kapuso Tom Rodriguez.

The said series is the subject of conversations not only among the Network's primary audience -- the mass market - but also among the Louis Vuitton carrying socialites in Eastwood and The Fort.

A number of netizens have proposed online that Dennis Trillo be given an acting award but which one: Best Actor or Best Actress?

That may be a subject of a long debate but viewers are one in praising the actor's convincing portrayal of Eric, an openly gay man who had had an affair with Vincent (Tom Rodriguez), who is a closet bisexual. 

Eric had to migrate to the United States and so he and Vincent split up. After a few years, Eric returned to the Philippines with the hope of rekindling the old flame with Vincent. But he got the shock of his life when he learned that Vincent is already married to a woman named "Lally."

How will Vincent, Eric and Lally sort out their "It's Complicated" statuses? That remains to be seen.
