Beauty queen Venus Raj said she is contented with the third runner-up finish of Shamcey Supsup at the 60th Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paolo, Brazil on Monday (Tuesday in Manila).
"Ako kuntento. Kasi nakita niyo sa mga interview ni Shamcey, siya mismo kuntento sa nakuha niya, so bakit ako hindi makukuntento kung 'yung tao mismo ay kuntento," Raj, who was fourth runner-up in last year's Miss Universe pageant, said on ABS-CBN morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda," where she is a host.
Raj added that she is happy for Leila Lopes of Angola, who was crowned Miss Universe 2011.
Meanwhile, Raj commended Supsup for being the only Miss Universe contestant this year who answered the pageant's final question in English.
On Tuesday, just minutes after Lopes was crowned Miss Universe 2011, Filipino netizens noted that she looks a lot like Raj. Because of the "striking resemblance between the two beauty queens, Raj made it to Twitter's top trending topics in the country.
The Filipina beauty ranked fifth in the list as of Wednesday morning.
