Kapamilya hot hunk actors Jake Cuenca and Joem Bascon play lovers in the upcoming gay-themed indie film "Lihis." The two were homosexual NPA lovers during the Martial Law days.
The story is mostly set during the Marcos administration, with some scenes in the presentshowing the journalist played by Isabelle Daza who tries to investigate a massacre that happened in a small town some 20 years ago.

"Lihis" is an official entry to the very first Sineng Pambansa National Film Festival All-Masters Edition. It was directed by Joel Lamangan from the screenplay by Ricky Lee who said he wrote the storyline of the movie years before the famous gay-themed Hollywood movie Brokeback Mountain was produced.
