Who Will Be the New 'Darna' and 'Captain Barbel' in ABS-CBN?!



Now that the Kapamilya network already acquired the rights to relaunch the two hit Mars Ravelos' superheroes namely "Darna"and "Captain Barbel," who do you think among the Kapamilya stars be suited in the said respective roles?!

For the role of "Darna," rumors spread before that Jessy Mendiola will be the new "Darna." But recently via her Twitter account, Jessy denied the rumors!

Meanwhile for the role of "Captain Barbel," they say that Jake Cuenca may reprise the role! But there were also rumors that the new Kapamilya hunk Paulo Avelino may be our new "Captain Barbell!"

Big question marks were now on the minds of the avid fans of these two hit Pinoy superheroes! And all were truly excited for the big revelations of our new "Darna" and "Captain Barbel."

Before, GMA-7 planned to combine Darna and Captain Barbel in one big TV series called "Darna Meets Captain Barbel." But since the original "Darna" in a TV series who is Angel Locsin transferred to ABS-CBN leaving the first "Captain Barbell" in a fantaserye who is Richard Gutierrez, the plan was postponed! Now in ABS-CBN, it may pursue sooner in time! Great!
