ABS-CBN’s newest teleserye “Maria La Del Barrio” heated up the screens of Filipinos in the country as its national TV ratings fired up to 22.5% on its premier, or almost twice the rating of its rival “Futbolilits” (12%) and had an increase the nextday, August 16, having gained a national TV rating of 23% as compared to the 12.9% GMA’s “Futbolilits” had, based on the data of Kantar Media.
The show also created a buzz in the online world since its premiere and even trended on Twitter from Monday, August 15, to Wednesday, August 17.
