'Darna', 'Dyesebel', and Other Mars Ravelo's Hit Creations are Now Kapamilya!

"ABS-CBN acquires exclusive rights to 13 Mars Ravelo titles. Darna, Dyesebel, Jack En Jill to name a few!" That is the tweet of the Kapamilya director Eric John Salud (@ericjohnsalut). According to him, ABS-CBN already acquired the rights of these hit Mars Ravelo's creations.

Many got surprised knowing the news of Mr. Salud! "Darna" and "Dyesebel" are two of the famous Mars Ravelo's characters who were given life via TV series in the Kapuso station. In 2005, Angel Locsin first portrayed "Darna" in a TV series while in 2009, Marian Rivera played the same role. In 2008, Marian also gave life to "Dyesebel".

Yup, "Darna" and "Dyesebel" really lifted the TV ratings of the Kapuso station. Because of these two Mars Ravelo's hit, GMA-7's Primetime block before really lorded the TV rating race!

Now, it's really shocking to know that "Darna" and "Dyesebel" were now Kapamilyas! The news is as shocking as when a Kapuso star transfers to Kapamilya!

"Captain Barbell" which is currently shown in GMA-7's Telebabad block is not yet sure if part of this great network switch! But for sure, 13 of the hit Mars Ravelo's creation were now Kapamilyas including "Jack en Jill" which was a hit classic movie before of the Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Herbert Bautista!

What do you think is the mere reason for this great network transfer?! Is it the low rating performance of Richard Gutierrez' "Captain Barbell" on Primetime which now looks like a "Justice League" one of the cause?! Or maybe a higher payment offer from the Kapamilya?!
